Daffodils (narcissi) are a flower of folklore that can predict your luck for the coming year...If the first daffodil of the year is seen with its hanging head turned away from you, you will have a year of good luck! Also, if you are in the business of ducks and geese and you have eggs to hatch, don't bring the daffodils into the house or you will have no luck in the coming years. Wonder if that goes for bad luck, too?

the daffodils are very pretty and the latin name is also very close to the german...
sorry about the eagle. but no matter how bad things are with the environment, there is yet still something one can do. things won't nescessarily be the same, but in some way one can always create some change for the better...
