The Rose-breasted Grosbeak is back! Last couple of years he has stopped in on his journey northward, stays a week or so and then moves on. He pretty well "rules", he's pretty big fella and somewhat intimidates other birds but isn't really aggressive..JPG)
A downy woodpecker in flight...just caught sight of the Grosbeak...
Red-bellied Woodpecker...not easily intimidated... Grosbeak or not!
Great bird photos, you must have some telephoto lens on your camera. We have had a Grosbeak this spring also.
