Go Outside and Play!
“I have given you Universes
as fields to run free in!
And here—take this and wrap yourself in it—It’s called:
LOVE
and It will always, always keep you warm.
And stars! The sun and the moon and the stars!
Look upon these often, for they will remind you
of your own light!
And eyes…oh, gaze into the eyes of every Lover.
Gaze into the eyes of every other
for they have given you their Universes
as fields to run free in.
There.
I have given you everything you need.
Now go, go, go outside and play!”

JUNE'S FULL MOON...TONIGHT WE SEE THE STRAWBERRY MOON
Who knows if the moon's
a balloon, coming out of a keen city
in the sky - filled with pretty people?

ANOTHER GIFT...
I can't help but think of this guy as the "old man" of the bird kingdom, he looks so prehistoric...
Another exciting visit...this time from the Blue Heron...he visits from time-to-time...don't know if he's passing thru or a "local"...I'll continue to watch for him, would love to get a clearer pic...

A DELIGHTFUL SURPRISE...
Earlier today as I was driving to town, I saw the on-coming traffic had stopped, crossing the highway was mother skunk and her 6 babies, 5 of whom were sticking close to mom...#6 took his own sweet time catching up, and eventually joined his sibs and a very anxious mom. This was such a delightful and charming site but then I saw the faces of all who had witnessed this parade, we had all clearly enjoyed our little and relatively safe encounter with these cute but highly- feared varmints!
Native Americans (see 5/20 post#2) might suggest that since this event happened directly in front of me, in such an odd place (major highway) and time (skunks are nocturnal) as well as it being my first time to ever see a skunk family that perhaps the skunk is another one of my totem animals!! First the crow, now skunks. I won't attempt a guess at what may come next! Click on screen and enjoy a little Pepe Le Pew...I guess I'll go do some reading...
